How to set a primary field employees

Setting a primary field within the employee settings page will allow an additional line of information to appear under the employees name on the iPad view.

To display an additional field below the employees name on the iPad, ensure that 'Primary Field 1' has been enabled. 

How to enable 'Primary Field 1' 

  • Log into your SwipedOn web dashboard.
  • Navigate to the 'Settings' tab and click on 'Employee Settings'.
  • Within the 'Custom Employee Fields' view, enter an additional field.
  • Select the radio button to the right of the field to set as the primary field.

Once this is selected as the primary field, this will now display on the iPad view beneath the employees' name for visitors to see when selecting who they are visiting. 

This can also be seen from the employees' in/out view on the iPad when tapping on their profile.
