Have a new iPad that needs to be connected to the account? No problem! Simply follow the steps below to add a new device to the location.

Adding another iPad (single location)

  • Log into the SwipedOn web dashboard.

  • Navigate to the 'Devices' view. 

  • Click on the 'Add Device' button in the top right corner.

  • Enter the name of this device e.g. Front Lobby.

  • Click on the 'Add New Device' button.


Adding another iPad (multiple locations)

  • Log into the SwipedOn web dashboard.

  • Navigate to the 'Locations' view.

  • Click on the 'Devices' tab at the top of the screen.

  • Then click on the 'Add Device' button located in the top right corner.

  • Enter the name of this device e.g. Front Lobby.

  • Select the location that this iPad will be assigned to.

  • Click on the 'Add New Device' button.


Connecting the iPad:

Once an iPad has been added to the location, this will generate a unique device ID that the SwipedOn iPad app will ask for in order to log into the account and sync the data.
