Easily ask your visitors screening questions before approving their entry into your workplace.
Protect your staff and business from the risk of exposure to infectious diseases by asking your visitors custom yes/no questions about their recent travel or current state of health. Send alerts to your designated contact so they can take appropriate action, including declining entry to the visitor.
Example yes/no questions:
- Have you had flu like symptoms in the last 14 days?
- Have you been in contact with anyone who has had Covid19?
- Have you travelled overseas in the last 14 days?
How to enable visitor approval questions
The Yes/No visitor fields gives you the ability to set up a customised question for visitors to select the response, yes or no when signing in.
When 'Require approval if:' has 'Yes' or 'No' enabled, the Company Admins and/or Location Managers at that location will receive an email notification allowing for visit to be approved or rejected.
- Log in to the SwipedOn web dashboard.
- Navigate to the Settings > Visitor Fields view.
- Click on 'Add Field' and select the Yes/No field type.
- Enter your question, please note, this can show a maximum of 100 characters.
- Select what response you wish to trigger the approval notification.
Once completed, the iPad will now display the question with the yes/no options for the visitor to select from.
If the visitor selects a response that then requires approval, they will see the below screen.
The admins at the location will receive an alert notification as below where the visit can then be approved or rejected.
They can then approve or reject the visit by selecting one of the above above options, below shows the next page that the user will see depending on the answer chosen.
If approved, the host (if selected) will then receive the usual email notification of their visitors arrival. If rejected, an admin will need to notify the visitor and can ask them to kindly reschedule and return at a later date - whatever your own company protocol is for denying entry to high-risk individuals.
A plain text alert notification without the ability to approve or reject can be set up by navigating to the Settings tab and clicking on Notification Settings.
Enter in an email address, here you can also choose to enter a mobile number too so this person can be aware they need to check their email regarding the alert notification response.
Below is an example of the plain text alert email notification the listed recipient will then receive if a visitor answers a yes/no question that triggers the requirement for approval.
